Forge uses status fields to model the lifecycle of events, attendees, tickets, and sessions. Understanding what each status means — and what transitions are allowed — helps you manage your events correctly.
Event status

☁Attendee tracking uses two separate status fields, not one
conference360__Attendee__c has independent Registration Status and Attendance Status fields — they are not the same field and don't move in lockstep. A person can be Registered (registration status) and still Pending (attendance status) until they're checked in at the door.
Registration status

| Lead | Attendee record linked to a Lead rather than a Contact; has not yet registered. |
| To Invite | Queued to be invited but the invite has not been sent yet. |
| Invited | Invitation sent; has not yet registered. |
| Pending | Registration in progress or awaiting a downstream step (e.g. payment). |
| Registered | Registration complete (and payment captured, if required). |
| Waitlisted - Pending | Event or ticket is at capacity; person is on the waitlist awaiting a spot. |
| Waitlisted - Rejected | Person was on the waitlist but was not offered a spot. |
| Awaiting Approval | Registration requires manual approval before it's confirmed (invite-only / approval-gated events). |
| Rejected | Registration was declined during the approval step. |
| Declined | Person declined an invitation. |
| Canceled | Registration was canceled. Associated transactions may be refunded separately. |
Attendance status

Ticket / Item status

Speaker / Sponsor confirmation status

| Pending | Invitation sent; awaiting confirmation. |

Transaction status
A Transaction tracks two independent dimensions, not one combined status — the overall transaction lifecycle, and the underlying payment/capture state.

| Canceled | Transaction was canceled before completion. |
| Failed | Payment attempt failed. Registrant was not charged. |

| Transferred / In Transit | Funds moved toward payout. |
| Reversed / Partially Reversed | A prior transfer or payout was reversed, fully or partially. |
